Cotton Trading in Red

Thursday cotton trading has midday prices 49 to 63 points lower on the board, with Dec the weakest strengthening carry. Certified deliverable cotton stocks were up another 4,949 bales to 83,423 bales on Wednesday. The Seam showed 3,105 bales sold on Tuesday for an average gross price of 68 cents/lb. That was down 2.34 cents/lb from the previous day. The Cotlook A index was firm 77.60 cents/lb for the 11th. The AWP for cotton is 56.01 cents/lb, and will be updated this afternoon.

Dec 20 Cotton is at 68.65, down 63 points,

Mar 21 Cotton is at 70.87, down 51 points

May 21 Cotton is at 71.83, down 51 points

Jul 21 Cotton is at 72.57, down 49 points
